Introduction

Mad Lads is the official NFT collection from the Backpack team. They wanted to give their holders their own VIP program that came with perks when they use the backpack exchange.

Role

This was a great opportunity to create something snappy, fast, but got all the information across in a fun way. I wanted to focus on the NFT and expand it to hundreds to represent the 10,000 different Mad Lads. Since It was sit up as a grid, the morph into a square to present VIP was a great transition that would ultimately shrink down the the exchange web layout. Keeping this square format helped the transitions and able to make the relation to the nft and the exchange.

Everything was modeled in Maya, textured in Substance and UE5, Animated and rendered in UE5 with some of their new Motion graphics tools in 5.4, with some post work in AE.
